The class teachers are busy preparing for next week’s Parent Teacher Consultations and are very much looking forward to meeting with you. During these consultations your child’s class teacher will share with you how well your child has settled personally, socially and academically, as well as sharing learning targets that you can support your child with at home. You will also have an opportunity to look at your child’s learning in their books, which will be available for you to peruse during the appointment.
Appointments are scheduled to last for 15 minutes and we kindly ask that you arrive promptly for your slot to ensure you maximize your time with the teacher and also not to run over into the next appointment.
Consultations are scheduled to take place on Tuesday 6th October and Wednesday 7th October. FS1 & FS2 appointments will commence from 2:30pm, whilst Years 1-6 will run from 3:00pm through to 6:00pm.
If you would like to meet with our Spanish teacher Cristina Blazques she will be available on Tuesday 06th October.

We are delighted to announce that The Jungle Book will be coming into Victory Heights Primary School to offer us a performance on 25th October 2015. The performance will be for FS to Year 6.
The Jungle Book, a musical story and made popular by the Walt Disney movie, tells the story of a boy brought up in the Indian jungle. Mowgli the Man Cub is taught the laws of the jungle by his friends Baloo the Bear and Bagheera the Panther. But when the time comes for Mowgli to leave the jungle and return to the Man Village, the lessons he has learned prove invaluable.

As part of the KHDA initiative to support the children of Yemen during this difficult time, VHPS is calling on all our students to show their support by donating basic stationery equipment. The stationery collected for Yemen will help in making a difference towards the children’s current education system.
Stationery items can include pens, pencils, rulers, notebooks, erasers and school bags.
A box will be made available in each classroom for children to put their donations in. All stationary donations will be collected from school on Tuesday afternoon, so Tuesday morning is the deadline for donations.
Let’s pull together and make a difference in a child’s life!!!
Thank you for your continued Support.
