Library Update

Dear Parents

We have noticed an increase in books being returned with torn pages and some with pages completely torn out.  Could you please ensure that your child is taking good care of library books when using them at home.

Many thanks,

Cross Country Training Update

Dear All

Just a reminder that tomorrow’s cross country training will take place in Estella Park, Victory Heights. For those non-residents, after you go through security, turn left and about 50 metres on your right you’ll see the park and bus stop 2. I will be there with other members of staff for you to drop your children off.

Please can all children wear VHPS PE kit so they are clearly visible, they can always bring their house t-shirt or uniform to change into afterwards.

If you have siblings you may keep their bags and drop them off at school if that’s easier. If not we will keep them altogether in a shaded place.

Please make sure they have a full water bottle. We will leave the park at 7.15am and walk back to school together. I have 5 members of staff helping me to make sure the children return safely.

We will start running at approx 7am so if you do arrive after that, I will make sure a member of staff is stationed near the drop off point so your child can join in.

I tweet some pictures of them running so follow #VHPSDubai or check facebook!

Any questions please email me.

Kind regards

Cross Country Update

Dear Parents,

We have now received approval for the cross country runners to use Estella Park for their club and will start running there on Wednesday 26th October. Children need to be dropped off at bus stop 2 at 6.45am. The children will do their run in the park and then be walked back to school at 7.15am by VHPS staff. Their bags will be kept safely in the shade during the run.

If you are a non-resident parent dropping your children off, please email Mr Simmonds your car number plate. This is so permits can be issued and security aware of who is coming and going. Can you also let him if you are a resident of Victory Heights so a record can be kept.

If any Year 3 children would like to join the club please email Mr Simmonds on headpe@vhprimary.com.

We are really looking forward to using the park and hope all the children are too.

Kind Regards,

Steve Simmonds
