With colourful costumes, memorable songs, and plenty of heart, this enchanting performance promises to be a joyful celebration of friendship, courage, and imagination.

Come and support our wonderful cast as they transport you to the Land of Oz – a show full of fun, laughter, and a few surprises along the way!

Library Books

ELLI Day – Friday 20th June

Dear Parents,

It is time to celebrate our effective life long learning inventory. Join in with a great headband or an elaborate hat. If you really want to go all out, full on costumes will be an awesome way to embrace the force of our superheroes.

To mark the occasion, children are invited to:
  • Dress up as their favourite ELLI Animal
  • Bring a special snack to enjoy during breaktime

Weekly Update

Dear Parents,
We hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the final weeks of the term. As always, we have lots of exciting events coming up at VHPS, so please take a moment to read through this week’s key updates and reminders.
Parent Showcase Week – Starting Monday 9th June
We are delighted to welcome you into school for our Parent Showcase Week, a special time for your child to share their work and classroom achievements with you. Children will proudly present the pieces they have worked hard on this term.
Schedule:
  • Monday 9th June – Year 5 (enter via Gate 4)
  • Tuesday 10th June – Year 4 (enter via Gate 4)
  • Wednesday 11th June – Year 3 (enter via Gate 2)
  • Thursday 12th June – Year 2 (enter via Gate 2)
  • Monday 16th June – Year 1 (enter via Gate 2)
All sessions will run from 2:15 to 3:00 PM in your child’s classroom. Collection will take place from the normal location, at 3.00pm. There is no early dismissal as children will be enjoying a celebration assembly.
Year 6 Parents: Please note that Year 6 students will be celebrating their time at VHPS with their Leavers’ Assembly on Friday 13th June. They will also be able to take their books home on this day.

Student Spotlight – VHPS Coding Competition
We are delighted to highlight a brilliant student-led initiative from Saaim in Year 5 Blue, who has organised a Coding Competition for students in Years 4 and 5.
Using Scratch, students are invited to design and submit their own original game by Friday 13th June. Entries will be judged on uniqueness, aesthetics, functionality, code efficiency, and bonus features with medals for the top 3 and certificates for all participants.
VHPS Town Hall – Vision for 2025–26
Join Ms Sasha and Mr Rothwell for our annual VHPS Town Hall, where we’ll outline our plans and vision for the next academic year and answer your questions.

VHPS Enterprise Day
Our Enterprising Year 6 students are selling Enterprise Day Passports every break time at the Wellbeing Office. The passports cost 10 dirhams, and give your child 6 boxes to spend on Enterprise Day (Friday 20th June).
Please note: Cash payments only, please send correct change.
Additional Dates to Note:
  • Tuesday 10th June: FS2 Disco
  • Wednesday 11th June: Sports Awards Evening at the Holiday Inn, Dubai Science Park at 6:00 PM
